The controls to the game are very responsive. I would give this game 5 stars if it wasn't for the massive event unlocking required and the slight rigid graphics. I recommend holding off on continuous playing since your arms might fall off the next day. The game play is excellent but the hassle of unlocking every event can be quite annoying. Also, if your playing with friends and complete a tournament, the next tier isn't unlocked, only after beating it solo is the event unlocked. especially if you're not in very good shape. Great game though, loved the gameplay after unlocking all the events.
It's a fun, interactive game you could play for a long time without getting bored. My 8 year old son loves it because it has many different games. You can play up to 4 people at a time or just one person vs the computer. As a parent, I like that it is a non-violent game that even adults can play. It does challenge your coordination and timing; I find the Olympic Games more difficult to master than the Winter Olympic Games which provides you better feedback on what you need to do to improve your score, but it certainly is challenging and entertaining.
I bought the Wii because of its great, easy, and fun multiplayer capabilities. That way records could be set and broken on the Wii by guests and by members with profiles.
I wish there was an online vs. Great game.
The multi player mode is great however i wish you could compete amongst multiple loaded profiles. mode like in mario cart wii.
However, the game is very good. Record keeping like on Wii resort and Wii fit would be a great addition for the next olympics type game.
This game most definitely does an excellent job of making the multiplayer modes very fun.
Meant to order Mario & Sonic at the WINTER GAMES. But since this one came and I'm too cheap to pay s&h to send back, we kept it and then ordered the winter version (which is much more fun in my opinion).
My teens and I all love this game. It's challenging and they usually beat me, but its great fun for the whole family. Some of the aiming and movements need to be pretty precise which may make it frustrating for younger children. But its definitely fun and was a good purchase.
